The camera cannot take pictures, it displays F00
"Please be careful because our lens is manual focus. So the most important thing is to make sure you set the ""no lens release"" mode, otherwise your camera may not be able to take pictures or videos.
Please note afterwards that our lens is a non-contact manual lens, so the camera's f-stop value will not be displayed.
So please turn the aperture ring of the lens to take a picture."

Product out of focus
"This is a common problem with manual focus lenses, and it's easy to fix.
That's where focus peaking comes in it's a guide to help you focus exactly where you want it's a feature that came from videography now you'd find focus peaking in most mirrorless cameras find it.
If you have any Sony mirrorless cameras, in the menu of the focus assist settings called peaking settings, the camera will place colored pixels in the parts of the image it thinks are in focus. Check out the attached video on how to adjust and use this focus peaking feature. We sincerely hope this doesn't affect your use of manual focus lenses."

The focus ring is not locked tightly and can be rotated all the time
"Regarding the problem of free movement, if you find that the focus ring is not fixed or there is no clicking sound when turning, it is normal. Since our lens is a manual focus lens, this is a common design for third-party market lenses and is not a design flaw. The aperture ring also uses the same design. When you try to rotate the focus ring of a manual focus lens, the focus structures move together, so the lens shifts axially. Like an external zoom lens that moves back and forth when changing the focal length. The camera shows that the lens is not installed properly or that the lens is not supported
"This came out by pressing the shortcut key. The shortcut key used to be a control of the automatic lens. Now that the manual lens is changed, the shortcut key can no longer be used. Therefore, you can set the shortcut key to other controls through the menu."

After the lens is installed, it feels unstable. There is a little room for shaking. The problem is the amount of ore.
"This is a problem with the widening of the lens, it is normal
That is, there is a thimble hole on the fuselage corresponding to the bayonet. The hole is larger than the thimble. If you rotate the lens like this, the lens will definitely move slightly.
This will not affect the use and feel, and will not affect the picture quality
It will only be tested when it is deliberately shaken. If the card is particularly tight, it will wear more on the fuselage.
Generally, there is some leeway. Otherwise, the standard of the body mount has errors, and the lens will not fit if it is too tight."

How to shoot video with manual lens to focus?
"There are two types of effects that can be used when photographing static objects:
1. Turn the focus ring, the subject will change from unclear to clear, many micro movies will use this effect
2. It is clear at the beginning, and then pan the subject or pan the camera to move the mirror. You can only pan left and right, not forward and backward.

If you are shooting a dynamic object, such as a person moving back and forth
You can turn the focus ring at the beginning to make the subject clear, and then when the subject starts to move, the photographer can follow the subject and move slightly."

Purple fringing when taking pictures
"The purple fringing phenomenon refers to the phenomenon of color spots appearing at the junction of high-light and low-light parts due to the large contrast of the subject during the shooting process of a digital camera. It is the ultraviolet rays of sunlight. There will be lenses too. There are more chances of it appearing in the backlight. It is recommended to shrink the aperture a little bit, adjust the angle to shoot a little bit, or remove it with PS in the later stage."

Brightin Star lenses are they Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Leica, Sigma, Panasonic brand original lenses?
Brightin Star lenses are not original lenses of various brands. Brightin Star Lenses are only lenses suitable for Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony, Leica, Sigma, and Panasonic mounts.

How long does it take to receive my product?
"Typically, our products take approximately 2-5 business days to be produced and shipped domestically. After successfully switching to international logistics, we will deliver your order to you within 4-20 working days."

Can I change the destination country of my order?
"After your order has been sent out, you may not change your shipping address."

How much is shipping?

US UK CA you don’t need to clear customs and pay duties, Brightin Star will take care of it.
Other countries require you to clear customs and pay duties in person. Due to different national policies, we do not have the right to handle it for you.

Do you ship internationally?
"We happily fulfill international orders! Our production time will be the same and shipping costs vary depending on where the order is going. Depending on your home country a customs tax may be applied in addition to your shipping cost."

What methods of payment do you accept?

My payment failed.
"Credit card payments fail for the following reasons: insufficient funds; purchase not authorized by the card owner; incorrect account/billing details; or expired credit card. If none of these issues apply, please contact customer service with your order number, name and email address and we will email your invoice to assist in processing your order."

What is your refund policy?
"Refunds are processed within 24-48 hours after you received confirmation of the cancelation. The amount of time it takes for the refund to shoe on your credit card or PayPal account depends on the policies of these institutions."

What should I do if I do not receive my order?
"We encourage you to track your order online avoid issues in the delivery process. If the delivery timeframe has passed, please contact your postal carrier with the tracking number, as well as Brightinstar customer service. If your order is lost and your shipping address is correct and deliverable, we will arrange for a free replacement or issue an immediate refund upon confirmation.

Why is my account status ‘Pending’ if my payment was processed?
"After the payment was processed completed, the status of your order will show Processing, and will not change again until you receive your order. If it shows as Pending, please contact our customer service via live chat or click Submit a Ticket for assistance."

Was my order shipped when I received my payment confirmation email?
"If you received the payment confirmation email, your order has been prepared and is awaiting pickup. If your shipment is delayed unexpectedly for some reason, you will receive a notification via email."

How do I change or cancel an order after it has been submitted?
"To cancel or change your order, please contact our customer service via live chat or by submitting a support ticket. We will be happy to stop the order if we can, however, our order fulfillment system is designed to ship orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. Therefore, your order may already be in the shipping process, and in that case, we will not be able to change or cancel your order. If your order can't be cancelled and you still don't love it after it has arrived and want to return/exchange it, our customer service department will be happy to assist you."

Why haven’t I received any emails or replies after placing my order?
"Your email address may have been entered incorrectly or blocked by spam filters. Please change your spam filters or check your junk mailbox. Please use your primary email to ensure you receive timely updates. Thanks for your support."

I cannot checkout

  • Check for any out of stock items, these must be removed prior to checkout.

I cannot add items to my cart
"First, check to see whether this item is out of stock or if there are any minimum purchase requirements on the item. Also, ensure all required fields were completed including size.
If you cannot add items to your shopping cart, it is likely due to one of the following:

Are there any customs fees?
"You will not be charged any customs fees by selecting our flat mail rate. However, by choosing express shipping, you may be charged customs fees due to strict customs inspections. Please note: We will only pay for the customs fees generated by flat mail. If you select express shipping, you will be charged for any customs fees."

What should I do if my order tracking information is not updated?
"This means that the tracking information hasn’t been updated in the online tracking system in time, though the actual order status may have already been updated. Please try again later to see if the information has been updated. If there is no movement within a week, please feel free to contact our customer service via live chat or by submitting a support ticket for assistance."
